Lupe Fiasco - What U Want (NEW) (Lasers) [CDQ]
One of my favorite songs in the past few months.....the title is "What U Want" and it is set to be on Lupes highly anticipated new album "lasers"...i think this song will broaden his audience, with that pop appeal that everyone loves rite now. Enjoy!

This is the older brother of a dude i went to high school with....the song is super chill, kind of reminds me of chromeo.......i just really love the creativity of the video. Yup this is where i grew up, wesco donuts and all:)

I really like this old school feel of this song, not much of a curren$y fan but i like a few songs.....like this one! I think Chip The Ripper does the first verse and thats my favorite.

What to say????? The Roots are basically my favorite ever, i think every song is amazing. Bottom line personally i believe they are one of the best groups ever assembled, in all of music and if u EVER get the chance to see them live......EVER!!!! Do not pass it up, they are electric.
My 15 seconds of fame
I had to put this on here....I got a chance to demo the 2010 boards last season with a great group of people at stevens pass for a couple of weeks. Super super cool experience and look into the industry that i wish to someday be a part of. This is the first webisode that i have been featured in...My part starts at 46 secs, I am in white pants and a dark coat.

Macklemore and Ryan Lewis - Otherside (Live at KEXP)
Seattle Hip Hop.... Getting creative at a local radio show. The Otherside is a deep song that goes into the drug issues going on around the Puget Sound, and Macklemores personal struggle with promethazine (cough syrup) use, and oxy-contin. The sample from the Chilli Peppers and live violin give this song the unique creative edge that i enjoy in good new music... Bottom line i am just happy he got away from that shit and back into the hip hop game...206!

I waited a minute for this mixtape... I read somewhere that the title is an ode to Snoop Doggs "Gin & Juice" which is perfect because i def think of him as a new school Snoop. A friend of mine said that it is way too slow and not the Wiz that he typically listens to and loves , i do think it is different but in a good way,and it's def the Khalifa that i like and it's basically a whole doobie smokin tape. Bottom line...kush and orange juice are the perfect ingredients for wake n bake.

I really prefer his mixtape stuff to what the record label will actually let Cudi drop, that being said.....this is an amazing collection, and it even has Day n Nite for all you mainstream only people out there. With Cudi I just love the creativity he puts into it and honestly believe that he is changing the game with every song, and i think he is changing it in a good way.

I just heard this for the first time the other day, which makes me kind of bad cuz i didn't know about him when i was in the NW...Gazmo is doing exactly what i like in hip hop rite now flow wise, and most of these songs are done on well known tracks(Ice Cream, Day N Nite)...he even hops on some old-school outkast tracks. Bottom line i think he would hold his own with the best in the game rite now and it is a nice change for what usually comes out of Seattle.
